FASTING

The Roza(fasting) is an Arabic word that is also known as Sawm meaning “to avoid”. After the Tawheed, Salah, & Zakat, fasting is the fourth pillar of Islam. The elaboration of Roza is to restrain from all kinds of bad and sinful activities, eating, and drinking. Observing the fasting doesn’t only mean to restrain from food and drinks only but it expands to avoiding sins, bad deeds, smoking, drinking, and other forbidden activities.
